Hi! Thank you for joining me on this journey!

As many of you know, I got married one year ago to the man of my dreams! & I felt and looked great that day (I mean, let’s be honest).

Although this first year of marriage has been the best time of my life, I gained weight like many people do during their first year of marriage – & I’m not talking a few pounds. 

So now that I have made the commitment to get healthy, I am hoping that I will be back to my wedding day body (or better, even!) this time next year when we celebrate our second wedding anniversary.

My hope is that you guys will read along and provide advice, feedback, and encouragement where you see fit. If you have a health goal of your own, maybe we can join forces and keep each other accountable.

I am not vowing to never have another slice of pizza or to never indulge in my favorite treats. I am not saying I am going to only eat whole foods or that I am cutting out processed foods. I am not saying that I am going to go to the gym every day of my life and get washboard abs. I am just setting a goal to be healthy – and to hopefully lose weight along the way!
